Something green, cinematic and melodic

A Single Man

A film directed by Tom Ford, famous fashion designer. The art direction of the movie is worth to see. The colors are keeping fading and freshening according to the main character which makes you feel that you’re in a dream. Also with the colors you feel strongly what the main character, Prof George Falconer, feels. I can say Colin Firth is just perfect as Geroge Falconer. The sorrow inside him of losting his 16 years  lover is just unbreable for him and he can just get along with it. He is a total single man now in the 60’s of America.

“A few times in my life I’ve had moments of absolute clarity, when for a few brief seconds the silence drowns out the noise and I can feel rather than think, and things seem so sharp and the world seems so fresh. I can never make these moments last. I cling to them, but like everything, they fade. I have lived my life on these moments. They pull me back to the present, and I realize that everything is exactly the way it was meant to be ”
